Issue 1: Signature Appears in the Wrong Area or Off-Screen
Cause: Screen area was not mapped correctly.
Fix:
- Reopen XP-Pen software
- Go to Device → Work Area
- Repeat Customize Screen Area
- Carefully select the upper-left and lower-right corners of the white Arize signature box
- Confirm and click Save
Issue 2: Pen Writes but Nothing Appears in Arize
Possible Causes:
- Windows Ink is enabled
- Mouse Mode is enabled
- Pen buttons are mapped incorrectly
Fix:
- Open XP-Pen → Pen Settings
- Ensure:
- Windows Ink ❌ unchecked
- Mouse Mode ❌ unchecked
- Confirm both pen buttons are set to:
- Other → Disable
Issue 3: Signature Is Offset or Cropped
Cause: Active tablet area values are incorrect.
Fix:
- Go to Customize active area
- Re-enter these values exactly:
X: 0
Y: 190
W: 400
H: 110
- Click OK
Issue 4: Tablet Works on Desktop but Not in Arize
Cause: Arize window may be covered or not active.
Fix:
- Make sure the Arize signature box is visible
- Ensure no other windows overlap it
- Click inside the signature box before signing
Issue 5: Pen Is Not Responding at All
Fix Steps:
- Confirm tablet is plugged in
- Try a different USB port
- Restart XP-Pen software
- Restart the computer if needed
Issue 6: Multiple Monitors Causing Problems
Fix:
- Use Identify in XP-Pen Work Area
- Ensure the selected screen matches the monitor where Arize is open
- Avoid moving Arize to a different monitor after setup
