Arize Signature Tablet Troubleshooting Guide

Issue 1: Signature Appears in the Wrong Area or Off-Screen

Cause: Screen area was not mapped correctly.

Fix:

1. Reopen XP-Pen software
2. Go to Device → Work Area
3. Repeat Customize Screen Area
4. Carefully select the upper-left and lower-right corners of the white Arize signature box
5. Confirm and click Save

 

Issue 2: Pen Writes but Nothing Appears in Arize

Possible Causes:

• Windows Ink is enabled
• Mouse Mode is enabled
• Pen buttons are mapped incorrectly

Fix:

1. Open XP-Pen → Pen Settings
2. Ensure:
   1. Windows Ink ❌ unchecked
   2. Mouse Mode ❌ unchecked
3. Confirm both pen buttons are set to:
   1. Other → Disable

 

 

Issue 3: Signature Is Offset or Cropped

Cause: Active tablet area values are incorrect.

Fix:

1. Go to Customize active area
2. Re-enter these values exactly:

X: 0 
Y: 190 
W: 400 
H: 110 
 

1. Click OK

 

Issue 4: Tablet Works on Desktop but Not in Arize

Cause: Arize window may be covered or not active.

Fix:

• Make sure the Arize signature box is visible
• Ensure no other windows overlap it
• Click inside the signature box before signing

 

Issue 5: Pen Is Not Responding at All

Fix Steps:

1. Confirm tablet is plugged in
2. Try a different USB port
3. Restart XP-Pen software
4. Restart the computer if needed

 

Issue 6: Multiple Monitors Causing Problems

Fix:

1. Use Identify in XP-Pen Work Area
2. Ensure the selected screen matches the monitor where Arize is open
3. Avoid moving Arize to a different monitor after setup
